“Dayenu” is one of most beloved songs in the Passover seder served in Jewish homes. The poem is over a thousand years old and has a total of 15 verses, while it can be sung to any tune.
“Dayenu”(literally meaning “it would have been enough for us”) is there to remind us to never forget all the miracles in our lives; to be patient for the changes we seek in the future and trust the divine providence. The inspiring lyrics encourage us to be grateful for what we have instead of complaining about what we don’t.
