Teaching ideas

There is a favourite game that children will love play after singing the song. Just like the “glowing red nose”, this time a sound can lead our sleigh:

Give a triangle or a pair of “jingle-bells” (they produce sounds that could be easy distinguished among others) to a child. We will call this child “Rudolph”, for the game’s sake.

2-3 other children, without looking – eyes blindfolded, will be the “sleigh” and will try to follow the sound of Rudolph who is moving around.

Alternatively, and more difficultly, the children of the sleigh can also hold and play some instruments, different from Rudolph’s one, without losing the sound of their leader.
