“Golden slumbers” is a wonderful lullaby written by Thomas Dekker, an English Elizabethan dramatist. The song’s first edition was in 1603, as it was included in Dekker’s play Patient Grissel.
The Beatles used part of “Golden slumbers” in their song of the same name.
