“Make New Frieds” is an old scout / campfire song, based on a 19th century poem by Joseph Parry. Through the years new verses are added altering the original. Nevertheless, the first verse is always kept.
The song is about friendship and the value of old friends and long-term relationships. It teaches children not to abandon their old friends for the sake of new ones.
