“Fum fum fum” is a traditional carol from Catalunya, Spain. It tells the story of the birth of the Holy Infant, calling the shepherds to gather in its birthplace and adore him.
“Fum” means “smoke” in Catalan, but the word might be used as onomatopoeia for the strumming of a string instrument.

Arrangement Details
As you have already seen, here you’ll find a percussion arrangement and an easier Orff arrangement.
The first one is in A minor, although at the second part (m. 8) changes in C major, only to return shortly afterwards and end at the original tonality. The vibraphone plays the melody, while the rest complement harmony and rhythm. The meter is in 2/4 and and the piece is easy-level.
When it comes to the Orff arrangement, it is also of an easy level and adapted in D minor. It should be noted that in the transition from minor to F major will use both C# and C natural. That means that you”ll need either a two-row alto metallophone, or a separate C# note for the mallets, except from the bass xylophone that uses only the C natural.
